Open House | 48 Hour Film Competition
SYNOPSIS
A house hunting couple quickly discover it’s not the property chain that they are getting caught up in.
ABOUT
In 2011 a small team of us entered the 48 hour film competition hosted by Smoke & Mirrors where we had to conceive, film and edit a short film. Our director was the fantastic Kate Herron, who’s work you can check out here.
In 2013 September Open House won ShootingPeople’s Film of the Month, judged by head of Warp Films Robin Gutch.
It premiered LOCO London Comedy Film Festival 2013, has screened at numerous short film nights and festivals including Into The Woods, LetsKeepItShort and has been recommended by Raindance Film Festival.
It also was selected as Film of the Week by Rankin Film Productions on their website Collabor8te and also Hunger TV on 3rd March 2014.
We had some nice things said about the film:
“Funny and entertaining.” – Raindance Film Festival
“A successful short film that unified tone, story and theme in an interesting way.” – Robin Gutch, head of Warp Films.
